Determining if Information Requirements are Met

The Agency determines whether it is satisfied that the proponent has provided the information or studies required by the Tailored Impact Statement Guidelines. This determination is made with input from:

If information requirements have not been met, the Agency will request the necessary information from the proponent. Information requested will be to ensure that the Impact Statement includes the information requirements outlined in the Tailored Impact Statement Guidelines. At the end of the Impact Statement phase, it is expected that federal authorities, other jurisdictions, and the Agency will have all of the information that is needed from the proponent to undertake analyses to identify the potential effects of the designated project, mitigation measures and the follow-up program requirements.
